Hi everyone,

I am sorry for leaving everyone hanging the way I did. It has been really hectic here to even begin this blog.
Well, where to begin...
After a huge blow up with the family and agency, etc...my family and I sat down and discussed my future with the family. After really being tired of being treated like a second class citizen I decided it was time for me to move on. I told them that Germany seemed like a better fit for me and I had discussed possibly going to Munich. At this same time they decided to tell me that Grit the host mom has been offered a job that is full time and will need someone to be a full time housecleaner and childcaregiver all in one. By law I am not allowed to do this because Switzerland needs me to only work 30 hours a week...so I decided it would be best to move on and find a new job. I first looked into German school up in Hannover, Germany but trying to get visas and money for that program would have been next to impossible. However I was still looking into it and also had my profile up on a nanny website just in case...well a family from Zurich happened to contact me and sounded really awesome. I spoke with her on the phone and we decided it would be good if I could go visit her and her family before the holidays started. Well I met with them and it really clicked! The dad is from Britain and we got along briliantly, and the Mom is swiss and we all sat down and discussed politics and money until 11pm!! It was great! Well anyway on christmas day they texted me and told me they would like me to join the family. SO as of tomorrow (tues) the host mom will come and get my things and take me to my new home. It has an awesome view of Zurich up on the hill. I will post pictures later. As for the family there are 2 boys, one is 5 and the other 3. Yes alot of work but I only work Tues. through Fridays and then I have sat through Mondays off!! TO TRAVEL!!! and they will pay me double and then some for this job so thats really nice as well.
sorry this blog is so short or awkward....i am staying at a friends house and to type and concentrate is hard. but at least you know that i am in zurich tomorrow and will have a cell phone today. :) i AM FREE and its AWESOME
